August card for Monthy card swap

I love monthly card swaps!!! You know the ones where each person takes a turn being the hostess and sends each person enough images and DS paper to create 6 cards and then you send to each person in the group?? Well this month the hostess asked us what our favorite color was and sent DS paper of that color and then the flower image. I couldn't decide what color so I said pink and green and she did perfect, I love the paper she sent!!! The leaf on the stem has a 2nd one one top with a dimensional, can't really tell by the photo.

My friend Kash has a swap on SCS tht is called "For the Love of Stamping" there are no requirements, just make a card!!! Joy fold cards are one of my favorites so here's my card for one of my 2 spots using my brand new Bella stamp!!! Don't you just love those doggies??

Here are my 3 recipes I made for Vicki's (FLScrapHappy on SCS) Tipsy recipe swap. The recipe's all have to have some sort of booze in it. I'm not much of a drinker but I like the flavor they add when cooking!!!

Here's my card I made for Audrey's Girls, Girls, Girls swap. The image is from Penny Black and I paper pieced her dress using a retired DS paper from SU! called Sassy. Same DS paper is used for the back ground. Then I tied red and orange ribbon together for a bit different effect, it seems I always use ribbon the same way so was trying to change it a bit!! I liked the way it turned out and may have to use that idea again!!

My "garden" !!!

Here is a picture of my garden. I'm not real big on getting my hands dirty, and HATE to get dirt under my fingernails but wanted to grow some vegies so decided to plant a container garden!!! Way easy to weed, they just come out with a little tug, especially right after watering!!!! I mixed it in with some floweres so it looks like a jungle!!!

Stamping Bella has a challenge going on right now called Twisted Bella challenge and the challenge is to use some bling!!! I LOVE bling, almost as much as I love BELLA's!!! Lol!!
Here is the card I made, I've got glitter paper, clear rhinestone brads, twinkling HO's (for her shorts and tube) and ultra fine glitter on her wings!!! I love the way she turned out ~ perfect amount of bling!!!

Here's my youngest wake boarding on Sunday!! The background shows our lake lot, it's to the left of the cream house!! We spend ALOT of time there in the summer!!!

Sorry I've been MIA!!!! I have been swamped taking kids to and from wrestling camp in Idaho, spending time at the lake and trying to get some stamping done!!! I did finish my 2nd set for the Shhh.... Don't say a Word swap and will try and post it later tonight.

We spent the fourth at the lake and have some pics of my youngest son wake boarding and our dog riding in the boat, he's a daschund and has a life jacket that a friend gave me so it's pretty cute so will post some of them as well. We had wonderful weather all weekend and so far today it's poured!!!!!

I'm going to sign off for now but will try to post some pics later tonight!!!

MFT challenge ~ gift card holder

Here is my entryfor the MFT weekly challenge. It was to make a gift card holder. I used SU! Close to Cocoa for the main part of the wallet, the a silver gel pen for the faux stitching.

I just love making these Joy Fold cards!!! This is one I made for my friend Tracey's "Shhh!!! don't 'say' a word" swap!!

This is my second card I made for the Hanna Stamp Guest Design Call, I hate to admit it but I don't have any Hanna stamps yet!!! I have several on my wish list though!!! This image and the one for the Riley card below were images that someone had sent to me and Cheryl has been after me to submit some entries so I came up with these two tonight!! Hope you like!!! Wouldn't that be awesome to be a Guest Designer for Hanna Stamps??!!!

So here's the front of the card I made for the Hanna Stamps Guest Designer call. Not sure if you can tell by the photo, but the snowball in his hand, and the white part of his hat are glittery. Maybe I'll take a close up photo of it tomorrow so you can see it better. It looks really nice with the glittery paper on the bottom layer. This was my first attempt doing a Joy Fold card, I liked the way it turned out.

Very Berry

Hello!!!

My new passion is recipe swaps!!!! I am signed up for a TON of them!!! This is my recipe card I made for the "Very Berry Recipe Swap" . I used a stamp from the Peaceful Whishes SU! set that is actually a Christmas set but I thought it doubled nicely as a huckleberry bush!!! Lol!! Not sure of the designer paper brand, I got it at Joann's and the ribbon was from the $ section at Target, how cool is that?? It was perfect for this!!!

Goth card

This is my Goth card I made for my friend Gabby's swap!!! The ribbon was from Kelli Jo from a swap we did awhile back that was to send ribbon that reflected our personality!!! (In her case, ROYALTY) I thought it was perfect for this card!!! Gabby sent me the images which I believe are Bella and the paper is all SU!. I love how this card turned out!!!

Petal print card

This is the card I created for Scrappy's Floral swap!! It is using the sketch challenge SC232 . And thank goodness for Cheryl (DJ Ho!!) otherwise this would never be posted in my blog!!! My, what a challenge this has been!!!

Oh my gosh!!!! I found it!!!!! I know, it's only been about 2 minutes but I was just checking to be sure I didn't loose it!!! Only thing, it's HUGE!!! Doesn't even fit one the screen!!! Wonder what I'm doing wrong??

Hi!!! I've just created this blog and not sure exactly what I'm doing!!! I think I'll go clean my stamp room and then maybe take some pic's of it to post here!! Seems alot do that, that way you get the whole picture of where I am coming from!!! (I just hope I can find this again!! lol!!!)
